Happy Easter!

We visited my Num Num in North Carolina on Friday and Saturday.

I tried out the high chair my Daddy and Aunt Erin used when they were babies and enjoyed chewing on the tray more than anything.

Family Easter Pic 2011 (Please excuse the scenery; we were using the timer on the camera.)

Loved my Easter outfit from Num Num.

...and my buddies that Grandma and Grandpa Roach sent.

How appropriate for Easter morning!  He is risen!  And so is my first tooth.  Mom and Dad didn't even notice until our friend Matt pointed it out at church.  Steak dinner, here I come.  Grandpa Roach should be proud.

Rolly Polly Joelie

Click here to see my first roll!

Helping Mom with the laundry.

Helping Dad light the grill.  Don't worry...I am a safe distance from the flames.

As you can see, we've had a fun weekend around here!

I love my Grandmas!

I've been trying more solids lately!  So far I eat rice cereal, sweet potatoes, avocado, and bananas.   Mom isn't sure how much food gets into my stomach.  Most seems to end up on my hands, face, bib, highchair, etc.

Grandma K came to visit two weeks ago and we had a blast!

...and then my Num Num came a few days later!  We enjoyed my first trip to Monticello and she gave me my first taste of sweet potatoes.  I am forever grateful for this yummy sweet taste and orange goo to play with!

Best friends sharing the swing.  They did not seem to mind!  I love Simon!  You may remember we shared a bassinet for a while in the hospital.  We go way back.

I can now sit in a "big boy" highchair.  I look like an e-trade baby here.

Chilling with my "girlfriend" Emmajane Moore.  She is cute stuff!

Twin outfits with Daddy.  See the resemblance?

I now love to hang, flip, fly and play all sorts of games!

6 Months Old!

In the middle of a belly laugh. Scary face, huh?

We cannot believe that it has been 6 months since our little man came into the world!  Time flies.    As you can see, he is now super curious and *almost* sitting on his own.  He loves to put everything in his mouth and play with Mom and Dad.  We are so blessed to have you, Joelie, and love to watch you grow!

Today at his 6 month check up Joel weighed 17 lbs 15oz (between 50-75th percentile)
and was 26 inches long (50th percentile).
